Calling All Artists:
Bruyère provides critical healthcare to one of Ottawa’s most vulnerable populations – our older adults. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bruyère’s patients and residents are not able to have any visitors right now. We want to send them some love!
If you are up for this Act of Kindness Challenge, the first step is to create a beautiful piece of Valentine’s Day art. Then choose how you want to get this beautiful piece of art to Bruyère’s residents.
You can help by choosing any or all of these below options:
1. Scan or take a photo of just the artwork and email it to me at worldchangingkids@gmail.com – I will then send a weekly round up of photos to Bruyère and they can print them out and distribute them to their residents.
2. If you want to be featured on our World-Changing Kids social media pages to share the love even further … take a photo of yourself holding the art and email it to me at worldchangingkids@gmail.com
Your photo might be selected for Bruyère’s Valentine’s Day placemat! Check out the three previous placemats we collaborated on to see just how awesome they are.
3. Mail your original artwork to Rachel Collier, Bruyère Foundation, 43 Bruyère Street, Ottawa, ON, K1N 5C8 – Rachel will distribute these beautiful creations to the residents.
Let’s make sure that everyone feels loved and cared for this Valentine’s Day.
