9:30 am – 1:00 pm: Exhibition Area

10:00 am – 11:00 am: A Cooperative Model – What is it? by Agricola Cooperative Farm

Curious about what is a cooperative? We will talk about why we chose to live in a community and how we democratically manage our farm. We will also share our experience since buying the land from an experienced farmer. Join us if you are interested in this collective management system, that is used in different areas and worth learning about.

11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Building Eco-Neighbourhoods by Social Harvest Ottawa

Would you like to discover what programs and initiatives are offered at Social Harvest, where intergenerational connections are promoted? Our goals are to educate on urban agriculture, improve food security, and expand food literacy skills for community members of Ottawa. We will give a practical workshop about starting to grow plants in small recycled containers such as yogurt cups and toilet paper rolls. If you have any containers at home, bring them with you!

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Let’s Talk About Ageism by | par Top Sixty Over Sixty

What does ageism mean to you? Have you wondered about the impacts of ageism, how it is perpetuated in our society, and the myths created about it? This will be an open table talk, a safe space for young and older to discuss, so come and join us!

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Creating an Intergenerational Painting by World-Changing Kids and by Top Sixty Over Sixty

Creative hands wanted to paint a canvas! Each participant will paint a flower, which will create a collective garden. It will serve as a meeting point to foster conversations and open dialogues between different generations, where all topics are welcome. Paint and brushes will be provided. The painting will be displayed in the Atelier.
