Our friend Peggy works at Bruyère: a health care organization that delivers a wide variety of services in aging and rehabilitation, medically complex, palliative, residential and primary care. Peggy texted me to tell me that there are a lot of patients who are not able to have any visitors right now due to Covid-19. She asked if we could organize a card writing/picture drawing campaign through World-Changing Kids. I said that we most definitely could!
If you are up for this Act of Kindness Challenge, here’s what you need do:
1. Create a beautiful piece of art
2. Scan or take a photo of just the artwork and email it to Peggy at ptaillon@bruyere.org and cc me at worldchangingkids@gmail.com – Peggy will then print it out at work and distribute it to one of her patients
3. If you want to be featured on our World-Changing Kids social media pages to share the love even further … take a photo of yourself holding the art and email it to me (Lindsey) at worldchangingkids@gmail.com
Alta Vista friends – if you are heading out for a walk, and wanted to drop your artwork off in Peggy’s mailbox, let me know and I can send you her address.
Let’s make sure that everyone feels loved and cared for during this time of self-isolation.
