We had a lovely surprise for the kids at our Kindness Club visit to Bilingswood Manor on April 15. Sue, one of the residents, and her two daughters Donna and Cathy set up the most amazing, exciting Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. And Cathy brought her adorably cute puppy, Harley, and put some bunny ears on her. There was sooooo much chocolate to find, and it was hidden in really hard spots too – which made it more thrilling for the older kids, you really had to look high and low.
Then two of our favourite friends had more candy to give the kids!
So the kids gave some thank you hugs.
Then the kids did some sorting and counting of their Easter Candy.
Then it was time to work on our Easter drawings and thank you cards for our friends.
And then we delivered our Easter drawings and thank you cards.
As part of their Easter Egg Hunt surprises, Donna bought this awesome catapult basketball game for the kids. The kids – and adults – had a blast with it!
There was almost too much cuteness at Kindness Club on this day between Harley, the puppy, and our youngest Kindness Club member being able to join us.

(7 Saturdays – skipping May 6 for our school’s Spring Fair)
Location: 1370 Bank St, Ottawa
Price: We are offering a family membership for $10/visit for the number or remaining weeks and a drop in family rate of $15 to attend individual days (if space is available).
