World-Changing Kids Year of Kindness

World-Changing Kids (WCK) is offering schools a yearlong program that will help teachers and parents teach their children kindness, empathy and compassion. The program consists of:

• a “Year of Kindness” Kick-off Workshop for parents and their children,
• daily Acts of Kindness Challenges for students,
• weekly Acts of Kindness Challenges for families,
• worksheets for both home and school use for reporting on the Acts of Kindness,
• a beautiful “Garden of Kindness” Acts of Kindness tracking system for the school, and
• a Kindness Celebration at the end of the school year for parents and their children.

This program will result in the creation of a friendlier school community where families feel welcome, safe, supported and loved.

Benefits of a World-Changing Kids Year of Kindness

The school will be able to expand learning opportunities outside of the classroom to include community-based, civic and humanitarian activities. The Acts of Kindness completed will provide the participants with cross-cultural and international experiences. The families and students will also be able to interweave artistic activities into their Acts of Kindness.

The program will promote happiness and well-being by helping children develop strong relationships and a positive sense of self. Through this program, parents will be involved in helping their children become healthy, active and engaged citizens.

Program Cost

The price for the “Year of Kindness” program starts at $1,000 for the entire school population, for the whole school year.
